Guatemala Mission Trip
For over 25 years, Kansas City Catholics have journeyed to San Andrés Itzapa, Guatemala to walk alongside the poor—sharing in daily life and serving with humility and love.
Missionaries engage in hands-on work such as building homes, installing wood stoves, and constructing animal shelters for local families. They bring supplies to the sick and share joy with children at a school for those with disabilities. While the work is important, it’s the relationships formed and the spiritual growth that truly define the mission.

“My journey as a wrestler and a student is rooted in my identity in Christ. I believe that hard work is a form of worship, and leadership is best expressed through serving others. Whether I am on the mat at St. Pius X or serving on a mission trip, my goal is to represent my family, my school, and my faith with grit and unwavering character. I strive to be a student-athlete who is physically dominant, academically disciplined, and spiritually grounded.”
